Raise the Roof

Check out the video footage of our roof going on the house. We used SIP's that were 10 inches thick for our roof. Each individual panel comes from the SIP factory cut to the correct size. It is then hooked to a crane that lifts it into place on the roof. The framing crew then screws the panels into place to lock it in.

The whole house took about 7 days for all the wall panels and roof (the crew also framed in all interior walls during that time as well). Most of the roof panels were installed while it was pouring rain but they got the job done! They were a fantastic framing crew. We were just so impressed with the speed and accuracy at which the panels went up
